Terms and Conditions
*The following TERMS and CONDITIONS apply to any claim made by you in connection with the best rate available guarantee.
1. Your reservation must have been made through The Leading Hotels of the World website www. lhw.com or through one of our Worldwide Reservations Offices.
The best rate available guarantee does not apply to the following rate types:
- Rates that are not publically available, such as negotiated corporate or group rates.
- Discount rates offered only to members of groups or individuals who meet previously-specified criteria including seniors, government employees, or Leaders Club members.
- Package rates that include the room and other components such as travel, car rental, entertainment, and/or non-breakfast meals.
- Package or group add-on rates that extend the length of a stay.
- Rates negotiated for stays extending beyond 30 nights.
- Rates available on auction websites.
- Rates available on websites that do not disclose the hotel brand until the reservation is completed.
2. The lower rate must be found and a claim placed to a Leading Hotels of the World reservations office within 24 hours of the booking of your reservation with The Leading Hotels of the World and must be for the same hotel, room type and reservation dates. The same cancellation and advance purchase policies and other terms and conditions governing the rates must apply. In addition, all claims must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to check in.
3. The Leading Hotels of the World will verify the lower rate and will notify you of the results within 48 hours of your claim.
4.The general public must be able to reserve the lower rate and it must be verifiable by The Leading Hotels of the World. If you have booked a lower rate through a non-Leading Hotels channel, The Leading Hotels of the World is not responsible for any fees or other costs incurred due to cancellation of the reservation.
5. Rate comparison will be made net of any taxes, gratuities, or any other fees associated with the room rate, and the lower rate must still be available at the time The Leading Hotels of the World validates the claim. Rate disparities solely attributable to fluctuations and/or differences in currency exchange rates are excluded from the guarantee.
6. When a claim covers multiple nights, the rates will be compared for each night separately.
7. The best rate available guarantee is void where prohibited by law. The Leading Hotels of the World reserves the right to modify or cancel its best rate available guarantee policy at any time without prior notice.
