Orient-Express Safaris is comprised of three unique safari camps in Botswana, all offering unparalleled opportunities to view multiple species of big game and bird life in their natural habitat. The three camps include Eagle Island Camp, Khwai River Lodge and Savute Elephant Camp and are located in their own unique ecosystem, making a visit to all three camps well worthwhile. All camps are operated as a collective venture, making transportation between them seamless. Meals, return transportation from Maun or Kasane Airports, and all safari activities are included in the room rates. Accommodations are in spacious elevated luxury air-conditioned tents, each with its own large deck, ideal for viewing local wildlife.

Khwai River Lodge - nestle on the edge of a forest overlooking the vast floodplains of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Known for its exceptional range of big game, a host of animals are visible from the comfort of your own private deck at this luxury safari camp.

Savute Elephant Camp - known for the herds of elephants that can be spotted roaming its plains. Other large animals also gather here to slake their thirst, especially now that the intermittent Savute Channel has started flowing after an absence of nearly 30 years.

Eagle Island Camp in Botswana’s Okavango Delta is situated on remote Xaxaba Island among a web of waterways and lush vegetation. It overlooks a lagoon that attracts a breathtaking variety of big game and exotic birds. Explore the region by local canoe, set out on a game drive or roam on foot.

In the heart of the safari experience, surrounded by wildlife, you will enjoy delicious cuisine created by skilled in-house chefs at three restaurants with incredible views of the amazing African landscape. All camps feature a campfire to share safari experiences or just simply relax. Room service is not available.

At Khwai River Lodge and Eagle Island Camp one can enjoy delicious dishes in the open air or under covered areas while enjoying incredible views across the Okavango Delta and an amazing African sunset. After dinner enjoy the bar and lounge areas.

A relaxed meal can be enjoyed at the Savute Elephant Camp. The raised restaurant overlooks the stunning Savute channel which is home to one of Africa’s largest elephant population. Here you will be treated to delicious cuisine created by our skilled in house chefs. Throughout the day, you will be able to relax is in the quiet atmosphere of the lounge sampling exotic treats or simply sitting back with a cup of tea. Light meals or snacks are prepared throughout the day upon request for the game drives through the Chobe National park.

Each camp feautures a 20-meter swimming pools.

Savute Elephant Camp also offers a spectacular observation deck area - just 10 meters from the adjacent water hole and a “Boma” for private outdoor dining or special events and entertainment.

Eagle Island Camp features one of the most romantic bars in the world located on its own private island away from the main camp as well as a private site for spectacular bush meals - on request, and a Helipad.
