Set within a restored 1915 Bagnall UK train car, Steam buzzes with retro colonial glamour. In addition to a full menu of cocktails, the restaurant and bar crafts wood-fired pizzas and Middle Eastern fare.
Florentine frescos, gilded mirrors and ivory damask walls speak to this restaurant’s former life as the palace’s grand banquet hall. The menu pays homage to this Rajput grandeur with dishes inspired by recipes from the royal houses of India, including laal maas (lamb cooked in chiles) and lentil dumplings in onion-tomato sauce.
Linger over breakfast or lunch at this open-air cafe while you gaze upon majestic fountains, lush gardens and the Moti Doongari Fort. Or take over high tea beneath the arched marble veranda. The restaurant serves a mix of European and Indian fare throughout the day.
