Why should I join Leaders Club?

How do I make a Leaders Club reservation?
To ensure each hotel is aware of your status and that your stay qualifies for Leaders Club Rewards, your reservations must be made through one of The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. booking channels. These channels include:

  • Our Worldwide Reservations and Service Centers. You can call 1-800-650-2582 (CLUB) or your local reservations office as listed on www.LHW.com/contactus.

  • Our www.LHW.com.

  • Your travel agent. When booking through your travel agent, please ensure that your Leaders Club number is provided at the time of booking.
What is my personal profile and why is it so important?
Leaders Club members can provide their stay preferences in their personal profile. For example, your profile will contain such details as whether you prefer feather pillows over foam or if you prefer red wine over sparkling. When you make your reservations through The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd., your profile is shared with our member hotels, who will then do their utmost to fulfill your special requests. The more up-to-date your information, the better we can serve you.
How will hotels be able to identify me as a Leaders Club Member?
A "Leaders Club Arrivals Report" is sent to each member hotel through the reservations system of The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd., notifying the hotel of your status as a Leaders Club member. The report also indicates your personal preferences and requirements in advance of your arrival. You are not required to show your membership card at check-in in order to receive your benefits.
Is Leaders Club membership valid at all Leading Hotels?
Yes, all Leading Hotels participate in the Leaders Club program.
What type of upgrade can I receive as a Leaders Club member?
Leaders Club members are entitled to a one-category room upgrade on published rates at the time of arrival (based on availability). Leaders Club Unlimited members are entitled to priority status for a one-category room upgrade on published rates at the time of check-in, which is based on availability and the discretion of the hotel. Suite upgrades will also be at the discretion of the hotel. Room types and categories will vary among the Member Hotels.

What does it cost to join Leaders Club?
There is an annual fee of one hundred-fifty USD (150) for Leaders Club Access level. You may use your privileges as many times as you like during your year of membership.

Leaders Club Rewards

What is Leaders Club Rewards?
Leaders Club Rewards is an exciting benefit for Leaders Club members which enables them to earn complimentary nights at any of the Leading Hotels across the world. Simply make five or four reservations depending on your membership level and complete your stays before your expiration date and you may receive a free night at any Leading Hotel across the globe. When you keep your Leaders Club Membership Active, your Stay Credits will not expire. At least two hotels must be represented in the five or four stays to qualify for the complimentary night and each stay must meet certain requirements to qualify. Certain other restrictions may also apply.
Do all Leading Hotels participate in Leaders Club Rewards?
Yes, all Leading Hotels participate in the program.
Do I have to be a Leaders Club member to earn a reward?
Yes, Leaders Club membership is required.
How do I ensure my reservation qualifies for a complimentary night reward?
You must make your bookings through The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. - either at www.LHW.com or through one of our many Worldwide Reservations and Service Centers, which can be viewed at www.LHW.com/contactus. Your travel professional may also make your booking for you by calling The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. He or she must simply provide the reservations sales associate with your Leaders Club membership number at the time of booking.
How do I know when I have earned a reward?
You will receive an email from the Leaders Club approximately two weeks after you complete your fifth qualifying stay with your award certificate information.
How many reservations do I need to earn a reward?
You must have at least five consumed reservations before your expiration date to earn your award. Remember that you must have stayed with at least two different Leading Hotels and that all five stays must meet the criteria for a qualifying stay.
What is the definition of a qualifying stay?
A "qualifying stay" is one stay at a Leading Hotel, reserved at a publically available rate, regardless of the total number of consecutive nights, whether or not the guest checks out and checks back in again.
If I book two or more rooms, do I get credit for all rooms?
No, you will only get credit for one room during the stay.
Can I earn more than one free night per year?
Yes, there is no limit to the number of free nights that you can earn.
I made a reservation before becoming a Leaders Club member, can I get credit for those stays?
Yes, provided that you join Leaders Club before your arrival date, and the stay otherwise meets the requirements of a qualifying stay, you can get credit for those stays.
Can I get credit for a reservation that I have made and consumed before joining Leaders Club?
If you contact us within 30 days of checking out, and the stay would otherwise qualify, we will credit that reservation towards a free stay. Contact us at theleadersclub@lhw.com with the relevant details.
If I make a reservation directly with the hotel, is it eligible to earn rewards?
No, only reservations made through The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. via telephone at one of our Worldwide Reservations and Service centers or on www.LHW.com will be eligible.
Are there black-out dates?
There will be a limited number of black-out dates which will vary by hotel.
When does my free-night reward expire?
Your award certificate will be valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
Can my award certificate be transferred to someone else?
No. Your award certificate cannot be transferred and can only be redeemed and used by the account holder.
Can I redeem more than one award certificate per stay?
No, only one award certificate can be redeemed per stay.
Do I have to book additional nights to redeem my free night?
No, you can redeem your award certificate for just one night.
