Overview
The splendid Hotel Real was built in 1917 in the neo-French style of the great European palaces at the initiative of citizens of Santander. It was built in honor of King Alfonso XIII and to house His Majesty’s court. The hotel recently underwent a complete renovation to restore it to its original grandeur. Fully air-conditioned, its spacious guest rooms, halls, and lounges have been redecorated and equipped with a flair for tradition and style, combining the comforts required by the discerning traveler. Guest accommodations, many with balconies, are appointed with satellite color television, modem port, and voice mail. Located in the residential area, the hotel is surrounded by private gardens with views over the bay, city, and mountains. The Thalasso Center has the quality award QUALICERT, being one of the very few that have it out of France.

Thalasso Therapy Center, at its 1,400 m2 Thalasso Therapy Center Spa, with capacity for 80 people per day, are offered more than 13 types of treatments, of long and short term.
