Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort is one of Ireland's leading 5 star castle properties tucked into the natural seclusion of its 840 acre estate and set beside the picturesque village of Adare in Co. Limerick. It is a 40 minute drive from Shannon International Airport. The estate is the perfect base for exploring the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney Lakes, Dingle Peninsula and Blarney Castle. The hotel and golf course are located in an attractive 840 acre estate, featuring sweeping parklands, cultivated gardens, formal French gardens, mature trees and the river Maigue, one of Ireland’s finest trout rivers. The hotel is housed in an impressive Manor House once owned by the Earl of Dunraven. It was built in the 1830’s to the English model but with a number of eccentricities, including a turreted entrance tower at one corner of the building rather than in the centre, 52 chimneys (one to commemorate each week of the year). 75 fireplaces and 365 leaded glass windows (one for each day of the year). The Manor House offers world class facilities which include a variety of accommodations to suit your needs, 63 elegantly decorated bedrooms, two first class restaurants offering only the finest produce from Ireland, 3 entertaining bars. Dining In
Experience a romantic evening in the Oakroom Fine Dining Restaurant, over looking the French Formal Gardens with views of the River Maigue. Enjoy the atmosphere of graceful service under the Crystal Chandeliers, Oak paneled walls and Peter Ellenshaw Paintings. Our resident Chef Mark Donohue and his dedicated team have prepared a menu using the very best of local Irish produce, which is complimented by our Sommelier’s recommendations of wine from our extensive cellars. Reservations are available from 6:30p.m until 10:00p.m each evening. Dress code is smart (dinner jacket & tie is optional). This is a non smoking restaurant. The Carraigehouse Restaurant is situated in our elegant Golf Clubhouse facility which is only a 3 minute walk from the Manor House. The restaurant enjoys a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere where one can enjoy a tantalizing Bistro meal while appreciating views of the putting green and manicured gardens. During the summer months why not dine out on our garden patio. The Clubhouse Restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner from 6:30am until 9:30pm each day.
Recreation and Health
Adare Manor’s excellent 7,125 yard par 72 golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and has staged the AIB Irish Seniors Open for the last three years and hosted the JP McManus Charity Golf Tournament this July 2005 which saw the top 58 golfers of the world play the course. Adare Manor has also staged the Irish PGA in September 2003. The course has three lakes, including a 14 acre lake anchoring the front nine. The River Maigue meanders through the back nine, coming into play on several holes. Other facilities include a driving range, practice green, Equestrian centre with scenic and challenging cross country trails, small Fitness room, indoor heated swimming pool, a luxurious spa, Fishing with a Ghillie, laser clay pigeon shooting.

Adjacent to this we have 25 two and four bedroom Townhomes located in an elegant courtyard. Each Townhouse has a sitting room, kitchen, dining area and utility room.
