Opened in 1986, the hotel - located in the heart of the business district of the city, 500m from Casa da Música and 1 km from the Modern Art Museum, is managed by the Sonae Group since 1999, and specifically caters to the business and leisure market for which it meets the highest standards of luxury and quality. The hotel was expanded and refurbished during 2006.
233 rooms and 18 suites - including 191 executive rooms, 42 deluxe rooms (on the 3 top floors of the hotel), 12 executive suites, 3 deluxe suites, 2 superior deluxe suites and 1 Grand Palacio suite. All guest rooms and suites have a city or river view, Plasma TV, working desk, complimentary wireless internet, in-room safe, Ergonomic positioned frigo-bar.
