The Carlton Hotel and the one and only St. Moritz will open you this winter with various events the doors to another world. In the elegance of our young grand hotel you find the luxury to take a break from everyday life and at the same time experience this season's highlights at first hand.

Following a total renovation in 2007, the hotel - originally built in 1913 - welcomes its guests with 60 junior suites and suites - all with a view of Lake St. Moritz and the Engadine mountains beyond. The first luxury Boutique Hotel in St. Moritz combines tradition with modernity so that guests may enjoy the "best of both worlds".

Leading the way to Carbon Neutral Stay

The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. (LHW) is delighted to make the financial commitment to STI to offset our guest's energy consumption while staying at any one of our hotels. Although this is not the best solution for addressing climate change, it is our first endeavor to help reduce unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration calculates that the average building uses 29.3 kilowatt-hours of electricity per square foot per year. Based on this number STI has computed the total amount of pounds of greenhouse gas emissions emitted per room night including the average common area spaces.

The Leading Hotels is also offering our guests the opportunity to voluntarily donate the computed amount necessary to offset their waste, water, transportation or all carbon emissions.
