Overview

Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort is one of Ireland's leading luxury castle properties tucked into the natural seclusion of its 840-acre estate beside the picturesque village of Adare. Just a 40-minute drive from Shannon International Airport, it is the perfect base for exploring the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney Lakes, Dingle Peninsula and Blarney Castle. Surrounded by sweeping parklands, formal French gardens, mature trees and the river Maigue, one of Ireland’s finest trout rivers, it is one of Ireland’s best kept secrets. The hotel is housed in an impressive manor house once owned by the Earl of Dunraven. It was built in the 1830s to the English model but with a number of eccentricities, including a turreted entrance tower at one corner of the building rather than in the center, 52 chimneys (one to commemorate each week of the year), 75 fireplaces and 365 leaded glass windows (one for each day of the year). The Manor House offers world class facilities which include a variety of accommodations to suit your needs. Whether you are traveling with family and friends, or if you are looking for the ultimate corporate retreat, Adare Manor will pamper you in old world style while you create unforgettable new memories.

Leading the way to Carbon Neutral Stay

The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. (LHW) is delighted to make the financial commitment to STI to offset our guest's energy consumption while staying at any one of our hotels. Although this is not the best solution for addressing climate change, it is our first endeavor to help reduce unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration calculates that the average building uses 29.3 kilowatt-hours of electricity per square foot per year. Based on this number STI has computed the total amount of pounds of greenhouse gas emissions emitted per room night including the average common area spaces.

The Leading Hotels is also offering our guests the opportunity to voluntarily donate the computed amount necessary to offset their waste, water, transportation or all carbon emissions.
