We feature two unique Chesapeake Bay restaurants.  Two different adventures with an assortment of fabulous cuisine to match any mood.  Regional specialties paired with select wines with Marina views.  Dining at the Tides Inn . . an award winning experience unto itself.

The Chesapeake Club is the Tides Inn’s signature restaurant.  The multi-tiered layout of the Club and East Room accommodates various parties of guests, while preserving a more serene atmosphere for those who want a quieter, more intimate dining experience.  As you enjoy views of the Tides Marina and Carter Creek, savor regional American cuisine featuring the bounty of the Chesapeake Bay and Northern Neck paired with our Wine Spectator Award of Excellence wine list.

The Pool Grill is an informal and fun pool and waterfront café, serving lunch and early dinner seasonally.  Located on the creed side of the main pool, overlooking our own sandy beach, The Pool Grill is known for its casual light menu featuring specialty “signature cocktails”, delicious burgers and smoothies.

Leading the way to Carbon Neutral Stay

The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. (LHW) is delighted to make the financial commitment to STI to offset our guest's energy consumption while staying at any one of our hotels. Although this is not the best solution for addressing climate change, it is our first endeavor to help reduce unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration calculates that the average building uses 29.3 kilowatt-hours of electricity per square foot per year. Based on this number STI has computed the total amount of pounds of greenhouse gas emissions emitted per room night including the average common area spaces.

The Leading Hotels is also offering our guests the opportunity to voluntarily donate the computed amount necessary to offset their waste, water, transportation or all carbon emissions.
