New Builds And Noteworthy Renovations To Ignite Your Wanderlust

Under Renovation July 2017 - December 2018

In the first phase of Hotel Continental’s year-and-a-half long renovation they revealed a brand new fitness studio and a refreshed casual breakfast restaurant, Caroline. And after a six-week closure during the winter months, a new reception, lobby lounge and Bar Boman have just been unveiled. Re-opened to guests and operating at a reduced capacity, the next phase of the renovation includes a remodel of 59 guest rooms in one of the hotel’s connecting buildings, which will conclude the refurbishments of all of the property’s 153 rooms, and the creation of a 2600 square-foot duplex suite, which is expected to be completed by the fall.

Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo

Under Renovation October 2014 - December 2018

Architects Richard Martinet and Gabriel Viora are in charge of the renovation project at Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo to reinvent its architectural offerings and amenities, while showcasing the hotel's original DNA and unique heritage. The first features of the phased unveiling include the restaurant, Le Grill, as well as the Bar Américain, and a path offering direct access to the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo. 100 guest accommodations including one of the Riviera's most exclusive, the Princess Grace Diamond Suite have also been unveiled. And still, some of the best is yet to come with a new lobby, a new restaurant by Alain Ducasse, and unique suites to welcome guests during the hotel’s official re-opening in December 2018.

The hotel will remain open to guests throughout the renovation.

In February 2016, the hotel began an extension project led by award-winning architect Eduardo Souto Moura, which has included the renovation and addition of the adjacent 18th-century building, to add a further 33 guestrooms. The new area also includes an innovative concept restaurant, 4 state-of-the-art meeting spaces and an indulgent wellness area, making Bairro Alto the most comprehensive luxury boutique hotel in its neighborhood.

The hotel is slated to close on October 31, 2017, with reopening projected for May 2019.

Palace Hotel Luzern is undergoing a major renovation to enhance its infrastructure and update its spaces for maximum guest comfort and convenience. The project is expected for completion in early 2020. More details will be released as they become available.

The hotel will remain closed throughout the renovation.
