The hotel is just acrosss from Moscow’s most important sites: Red Square, the Kremlin and Saint Basil’s Cathedral
The Tsar Ivan the IV celebrated his victorious return from Kazan in the 16th-century with the construction of Saint Basil’s Cathedral, today one of the most recognizable buildings in Russia. This bejeweled monument is a stone’s throw from the Hotel Baltschug Kempinski. The hotel is located in the historic district of the city, close to the Kremlin, Red Square and the Moskva River. Most of the rooms afford views of these sites and the Royal Design suites were designed by royalty—Princess Michael of Kent, and Viscount Linley—with traditional English floral designs, Italian marble and furniture custom-made of sustainable materials. These suites are ideal for families, and children are welcomed at the hotel, which offers a special activities package and a kids cultural tour.
