Set in the Count de Crillon’s former ballroom, Les Ambassadeurs glitters with Louis XV splendor, from the frescoed ceilings to the glittering chandeliers to walls and floors of marble marquetry. Chef Christopher Hache secured a Michelin star here for his creative and contemporary take on French haute cuisine.

Dark wood paneling frames arched mirrors at buzzy neo-brasserie L’Obe, all the better to survey the who’s who dining room of international types and Parisians chatting beneath original Lalique chandeliers. The menu—presented as a color chart—includes creative new takes on French fare with a focus on seasonal produce.
Local fashion types drop in for lunch in this clubby wood-panelled room lit by original Lalique chandeliers. Later on, business types chat with head barman Philippe Olivier over rare aged spirits. And come nightfall, the bar fills with the sounds of live piano music and Parisians chatting at the centerpiece mirrored bar.
Manicured trees climb skywards and a hanging garden drips down into this peaceful patio off the Winter Garden at the center of the hotel. Guests come for tea and light snacks or appetizers and drinks shaded by a curtain of ivy.
Presided over by a Baccarat crystal elephant, the showpiece Winter Garden forms the heart of the Hotel de Crillon. Gilded marble tables front pillowy velvet sofas, while chandeliers dripping in crystals light couples sipping aperitifs or friends chatting over a cup of the hotel’s famous tea.
