Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort is a five stars hotel located in Costa Rica's northern region, at the base of the majestic Arenal Volcano in the heart of the tropical rainforest. Tabacón provides luxurious accommodations, services and amenities in a picture-perfect natural setting. In this Carbon Neutral Resort guest can enjoy the unique thermal springs that emerge naturally from the volcanic earth, cascading to form waterfalls, streams, tranquil pools and ponds surrounded by lush tropical gardens.

As a perfect complement of a relaxing experience, inside the gardens you can find The Grand Spa, member of Leading Spas of the World. The Grand Spa taps one of the world's most beautiful locations – thermal mineral springs set in the Costa Rican rainforest at the foot of the Arenal Volcano – to offer an incomparable spa experience. Treatments are rendered in 11 open-air bungalows all with private Jacuzzi.

The Grand Spa offers a range of wet and dry treatments, including the signature Tabacón massage which begins with a series of bends and stretches to regulate the body's flow of vital energy, and concludes with volcanic mud vigorously massaged into the body.
