Property Overview
Once upon a time a servant of the court and the daughter of the royal chef fell in love. Together, in 1755, they opened a restaurant which went on to evolve into what has long been considered Copenhagen’s best address. Reborn in 2013 after an extensive renovation, the Hotel d’Angleterre exudes elegance. The rooms are larger than ever before; no two are alike and unique design touches include balconies and fireplaces. In Copenhagen’s finest location, on Kongens Nytorv Square, a few blocks from Amalienborg Palace and steps from the capital’s best shopping, the hotel is also home to the Michelin-starred Restaurant Marchal. Under the Amazing Space brand, the spa is a tranquil haven with an indoor pool – the only one in downtown Copenhagen. Though beautiful in all seasons, the hotel is famous for its fairytale-like Christmas decorations, making the holiday season one of the most romantic times to visit.
