The Leading Hotels of the World Introduces Stay It Forward Certificates


NEW YORK, NY— (August 2020) The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. (LHW) has banned together with their member hotels to create Stay It Forward certificates to support their community through this difficult time. 100% of the certificates’ proceeds will be donated to the employees of the hotel facing financial hardships, or to a charity doing essential work in their local communities.

Select LHW members are selling a limited number of Stay It Forward certificates for USD 1,500. The pre-paid stay certificates are designed to be of use now, and later. Now, because 100% of the funds generated by the sale of each certificate provide financial assistance to those that need it most. And later, because travelers will have a holiday they’ve been dreaming of on the horizon.

Stay It Forward certificates are valid into 2022 and include:
  • A 2-night stay at double occupancy at a participating hotel
  • Access to an exclusive experience during the stay, such as a wine blending session in Mendoza, Argentina, a private tour around the Greek island of Zakynthos, or an exclusive tour of The Ritz Kitchen in London
  • A 1-year Leaders Club membership (USD 175 value)
  • 1,500 Leaders Club bonus points (USD 120 value – free stays begin around 3,000 points) that may be applied toward a future stay booked through LHW

100% of the certificate proceeds will be donated to staff members facing financial hardship:
  • Sun Gardens Dubrovnik (Dubrovnik, Croatia)
  • The Fontenay Hamburg (Hamburg, Germany)
  • San Clemente Palace Kempinski (Venice, Italy)
100% of the certificate proceeds will be donated to charities doing essential work for their communities:
  • Rocco Forte Hotel Amigo (Brussels, Belgium): proceeds donated to Make-A-Wish International
  • The Ritz London (London, England): proceeds donated to The Princes Trust
  • Le Bristol Paris, Oetker Collection (Paris, France): proceeds donated to the ICM Paris Brain Institute
  • Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa (Champillon, France): proceeds donated to the Pediatric Department at Reims Hospital
  • Lesante Blu Exclusive Beach Resort (Zakynthos, Greece): proceeds donated to the Zakynthos Nursing Home
  • The Merrion in Dublin (Dublin, Ireland): proceeds donated to the Dublin Simon Community
  • Hotel Okura Amsterdam (Amsterdam, Netherlands): proceeds donated to the Ronald McDonald Foundation
  • Palacio De Los Duques (Madrid, Spain): proceeds donated to Cáritas Madrid
  • Hotel Fenix (Madrid, Spain): proceeds donated to Cáritas Madrid
  • Marbella Club Golf Resort & Spa (Marbella, Spain): proceeds donated to the Spanish Red Cross
Stay It Forward in North America

100% of the certificate proceeds will be donated to staff members facing financial hardship:
  • Paradisus Los Cabos (San Jose del Cabo, Mexico)
  • Chablé Yucatan (Chocholá, Mexico)
  • Chablé Maroma (Solidaridad, Mexico)
Stay It Forward in Central & South America

100% of the certificate proceeds will be donated to staff members facing financial hardship:
  • The Vines Resort & Spa (Mendoza, Argentina)
  • Hotel Fasano Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

  • Certificate expiration and blackout dates vary by hotel and will be confirmed at the time of purchase. Stay It Forward certificates will not expire sooner than 2022 so travelers have time to redeem their certificates when they are ready to travel once again.
