Historical island estate on the shores of the Marmara Sea
Sat on a nature conservancy on the island of Büyükada, this renewed historic estate blends the rich heritage of Istanbul with elevated contemporary luxury details. The resort brings together natural beauty, refined hospitality and uninterrupted elegance to present a beacon of Turkish luxury, just two hours south of Istanbul. With the Marmara Sea lapping at the shores of the island, each of the 69 rooms in the property have panoramic views of the ocean, or of the equally tranquil gardens. The lagoon on which the island sits is said to have the cleanest waters of the Marmara Sea, reflecting the tranquillity of the surrounding nature and working in harmony with Princes’ Palace’s own wellness center. Althoff St. James’s Hotel and Club (London, UK)
Storied St. James Townhouse
Located down a quiet street near Mayfair, Althoff St. James’s is the epitome of discreet elegance. With Buckingham Palace, Burlington Arcade and Bond Street the local haunts of hotel guests, the capital city becomes a playground of theater, shopping, museums and the monarchy once the doorman tips his hat and opens the gates. Famed for its original art collection, depicting portraits of politicians, socialites and aristocrats of times gone by, the paintings found throughout the property were once housed in London’s most aspirational Gentleman’s Clubs, a quiet nod to the heritage of the hotel. Chef William Drabble has curated a delectable menu of tapas at Seven Park Place Bar & Lounge, and the culinary prowess of Victorian chef, Charles Elmé Francatelli is brought to life at Restaurant Francatelli. Award-winning interior designer AMJ Design has fashioned each of the 60 guestrooms and suites into smartly-tailored, tasteful pied-a-terres, delivering a slice of refined London luxury in the heart of the city.
