Designer Den with Destination Dining
The Orient Jakarta (Jakarta, Indonesia)
Located in the heart of Central Jakarta, this opulent city hideaway opened in October 2021 incorporating décor inspired by Balinese and Javanese heritage. Bangkok designer Bill Bensley blends Eastern traditions with modern motifs like centuries-old Batik made into oversized patterns, collected antiques, and maximalist details to adorn the 72 eclectic rooms. A semi-outdoor infinity pool with skyline views and Tiki bar within reach also doubles as a hydrotherapy pool for a therapeutic experience. Destination dining comes in the form of three venues: modern Spanish cuisine is served at Caspar; Japanese fare (sashimi, teppanyaki, agemono, and curries) at Furusato Izakaya; and afternoon high tea paired with Asian bites, or a handcrafted cocktail, at the Library Lounge.
Cultured Seaside Villailla
Villa Mara Carmel (Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, USA)
Just steps from a white sandy beach, 16-room Villa Mara offers an intimate experience with plenty of comfort and sophistication. Its recent 2022, extensive renovation by designer Lisa Koch promises thoughtful curation, natural tones and original art. On-site bar Jesena's serves fine Californian vintages, while taking in the lush landscape, fireplace, and water features. Experience Carmel-by-the-Sea’s rich artistic culture and elegance in this small yet worldly village. It’s a short stroll to family-owned boutiques and popular dining, or venture a bit further for a visit to the Monterey County wineries or to Point Lobos State Natural Reserve for coastal hiking.

Dan Tel Aviv (Tel Aviv, Israel)
Presiding the famous seafront promenade, the Dan Tel Aviv embodies the vibrant energy of Israel’s Mediterranean coast. The original hotel dates back to June 1947, when two brothers purchased the ‘Kaete Dan’ as a 21-room guest house. Now it is an entertaining and elegant hotel that offers contemporary design with a chic atmosphere. The property boasts an indoor and outdoor sea water swimming pools, D-Breakfast and D-Brasserie as well as host of event spaces. Legendary Lakeside Palace
The Lido Palace (Lake Garda, Italy)
Set in leafy gardens on Lake Garda, The Lido Palace first opened in 1899 to rival the best hotels in Europe. After an exacting refurbishment, the grand, Belle Époque style was brought back to life and enhanced by contrasting modernist flourishes using contemporary materials including resin, metal and glass. The 42-room hotel offers a discrete sense of luxury, contemporary designed guestrooms and suites with striking views of lake and surrounding mountains, two restaurants, a state-of-the-art Spa Centoundici (CXI), and two heated swimming pools.
